The Content.ly dashboard is mission control for your account. It has two main sections: latest connections and recent activity.
Content.ly displays recently created cloud service connections in the dashboard. We call these connection cards.
Each connection card has a title, a label indicating which cloud service Content.ly is connected to, connection-specific metrics, and actions related to that connection. If the connection is for a tenancy, a tenant icon will be visible in the upper right-hand corner of the connection card.
Each connection card displays metrics related to that connection. These include total storage, used storage, remaining storage, number of files, number of folders, and users.
Note: Depending on the size and complexity of the data associated with a connection, it may take some time to populate the connection card. On reload, you should see progress.
Each connection card has a set of actions specific to that particular connection. These include backup and restore.
To back up a connection, click on "backup" in the connection card. You can learn more about creating backups here.
To restore a file or drive for a specific connection, click on "restore" to expand the menu. You have two options: item restore or full restore. Item restore allows you to recover a specific file or folder; full restore will recover the entire drive from a backup. To learn more about restore, look here.
Note: You must have a backup in order to restore content.
Create a new connection from the dashboard
Content.ly runs on connections, so we've made creating a connection quick and easy. In the dashboard, you'll find a card with an icon to create a new connection. Clicking on this will send you to the create connection form. You can also use the side navigation bar. Just click on Connections -> Create Connection and you'll be taken to the same form. You can learn more about connections here.
For administrators, the recent activity log displays activity for all users within their respective Content.ly account. Examples of logged activities include creating a new connection, changing a password, or logging out of Content.ly.
